FAQ: Some frequently asked questions
Q. How long is the park open each year?
A. New for 2010 we are pleased to announce a new 10 month season. The Park opens March 1st and closes at midday on January 2nd.
Q. When is the Park closed?
A. From midday 2nd January until 28th February
Q. Can I visit my holiday home when the park is closed
A. No – The park is closed completely during the months of January and February.
Q. Having seen a holiday home we like how do we proceed?
A. A 25% non refundable deposit secures the sale and there are a few forms to complete.
Q. How long is it before we can move in?
A. That depends a little on the pitch but normally three to four weeks.
Q. Are pets welcome
A. Yes. We welcome dogs onto park. A maximum of two per holiday home at any one time. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
Q. Is fishing included?
A. Yes. Owners are welcome to fish from Oak Pond and Heron Pond and our newly developed Kingfisher Pond.
Q. Can I live in the holiday home all the time?
A. No, the homes are not permitted to be used as permanent accommodation and proof of your permanent home will be required for the sale to proceed.
Q. Can I rent my holiday home?
A. No. Holiday homes are for the exclusive use of the owners and their immediate families.
Q. What are the site fees?
A. £2,100.00 for a standard pitch. £2,200.00 for a slightly larger pitch. Lakeside pitches vary.
Q. Are there additional costs?
A. Gas, electric and water are metered and charged according to usage. All holiday homes must be insured.
