As is suggested in the name we have three fantastic fishing ponds here at the holiday park offering a variety of species and tactics.
Oak Pond
This pond is open to residents and day ticket fisherman alike. It is about 1 ½ acres and runs to depths of 9 feet in parts. Each of the 16 pegs has features to fish to, whether that is one of the three lilly pads, the reed bank or the overhanging cover.
The pond is managed to promote a very natural environment which creates a variety of natural foods.
The result is specimen sized fish in pristine condition that fight hard and fast when hooked.

This pond offers fishing that is very rare to find with its good stock of crucian carp.
Heron Pond (residents only)
Two banks of Heron Pond are occupied by holiday homes with exclusive fishing from their gardens.
There are two areas open to other residents to fish from giving 6 pegs in total.
Heron Pond has a much larger head of carp than Oak Pond which again adds variety to the fishing styles required.

Baits and Techniques
The usual favourites of maggot, sweetcorn and luncheon meat will tempt the tench on all three ponds. Halibut paste and pellet have proved particularly successful on Oak Pond for the tench.
Carp will be taken on Oak and Heron on shellfish boilies and on Heron Pond can be tempted off the top with floating crust.
On site we have a tackle and bait shop for all your fishing needs.
